Fitness at its Best

Improve Your Game is located in the warehouse district of Richmond and has an indoor facility that offers total sport fitness conditioning for those wishing to maximize their performance on the field. Group, individual and team training is offered to IYG Baseball members and outside players. We have a full weight room to be used to maximize your workout during your training.

Group fitness classes are offered for boys and girls of all shapes and sizes. If you are a parent of a child who loves the game then encourage their potential by signing them up for this training. Sports conditioning is more than exercise. It’s about allowing the player to develop their skills, train their body for endurance, promoting a healthy lifestyle and positive self image. There is no long term commitment you are free to sign up on a month by month basis.

Small group and personalized fitness classes are offered to improve your overall health, energy level, and, yes, your game!  These classes are taught by experienced coaches and certified trainers who will help you to achieve your goals no matter what your current fitness level may be.

13U-14U Fitness

At this age we focus on introducing the athletes to new lifts in the weight room, safety and proper lifting form. We will include speed/agility training as well as muscular endurance, muscular strength, cardiorespiratory and flexibility components. All programs will be sport specific and tailored to help the athlete get stronger and faster.

High School Fitness

At this age your players will work with our head strength coach in building a program that is right for their goals. We will introduce compound lifts, more advanced training sessions and proper safety and lifting form in the weight room. The focus will be on high school/college style workouts that will push the athlete to new heights. The weight room is an essential part of sports.
