Coach Joe Frostick is owner of IYG as well as a coach for the travel league teams.  Coach Joe is a former University of Richmond baseball coach with over 20 years experience working with players of all ages.  His passion for the game is evident in both his coaching and his belief in positive development for the overall player.

Coach Tyler LeClair comes to us from northern New York.  He played his high school baseball for the Ogdensburg Blue Devils.  He played at the State University of New York College at Brockport as a catcher.  He earned his degree in teaching Physical Education with a minor in coaching.  In 2009 he started and was the head coach of a Junior Varsity baseball program at a high school that did not have baseball as a spring sport.  That program now has J.V. and Varsity level teams.  He was the catching coach at Freeman High School from 2010-2015.  Coach LeClair has been at IYG since the summer of 2010 and is our Director of Baseball Operations.

Taylor trueheart | 13U Head Coach

Coach Taylor graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 2014 where he played some first base but was primarily a catcher. He went on to play club ball at VCU. He is also a former Spider having played with IYG for 6 years. He knows our organization and shares our values. Coach Trueheart is the head JV baseball coach and the head men's JV volleyball coach t Thomas Dale High School.

Becca Mayhew | 12U Black Widows Head Coach

Coach Mayhew grew up in Mechanicsville and played softball at Lee Davis High School. She went on to play as a catcher for the Fighting Squirrels at Mary Baldwin where she served as captain and NCAA Woman of the Year. She previously coached softball and girls basketball teams at Hanover High School.

Jay Barnes | 14U Black Widows Head Coach

Coach Barnes played baseball at Randolph Macon where he was also an honor student. He has coached baseball at Freeman High School and Cosby High School. He is currently a teacher at Tucker High School. He worked with and coached his daughters softball teams throughout her years playing Little League and Travel Ball. Gabby, his daughter, is currently a student and softball player at Mary Washington University.
